It’s Blizzcon day again!

First up, new WoW expansion!

Cata bored me
I have NO interest in World of Warcraft at all; HOWEVER this expansion looks really good.
So Blizzard, since I have a slight emotion towards this I guess you have done a good job.

THQ shuts down 3 more studios

So last year Australia's largest game studio Krome shut down there 3 bases in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. Only Brisbane remains with a small group, with them gone THQ was the largest Australian gaming company... not anymore.

Today THQ as part of there reconstruction has shut down Blue Tongue studios (famous for "De Blob") and THQ Australia (A Brisbane studio).

On top of this they also shut down THQ Digital Phoenix (was Rainbow studios).

THQ has not been going well, this year they have shut down
Kaos Studios (the studio behind homefront), THQ Digital Warrington (formerly Juice Games) and they sold off there wireless section.

My thoughts on the "Cold Stream" beta for L4D2

I think that is was overall a great hour or so spent playing.

The campaign was MUCH more hectic than previous and many may find them self’s dying once in a while (thankfully I only died once from my own stupidly), regardless I don’t think it needs to be made harder nor do I think it needs to be made easier, this really brings out the best of you, I think the level of difficulty needs to stay the same.

Level design was very well done with more interaction with the environment than normal and the path was less liner than normal (with times when you need to pick which way to go) which is a welcomed edition.

I R IN SINGAPORE

So anyways for the last couple of days I have been in Singapore and it’s really hot (temp wise). See right now back in Australia it’s Winter and it’s really cold while here it’s extremely hot.
I have been impressed by how modern the place is, the main CBD area is all neon light at night (which looked amazing) and looks all dandy during the day. The city has a series of underground passages which go under streets and connect malls, now while you may think that this is all evil and dark… nope!   Infact it is wide, well light, full of people and shops everywhere. You don’t feel like your underground.

for thorse who don't know, youtube user MAST3RLINKX had got her youtube channel taken down by Hasbro for 3 counts of copyright infringement, now her account is back up however all pony videos have been taken down and has far as I can tell she isn't going to upload anymore videos of my little pony: friendship is magic.
